Camp Bulldog

Optional Pre-Orientation Opportunity

Camp Bulldog is an optional, extended Orientation experience that provides new students with an exciting and engaging opportunity to ease the transition to Wingate. The program is designed to help students meet other new students, cultivate future student leaders, jump-start involvement opportunities, learn about Wingate history and purpose, and foster Bulldog Pride. Throughout the weekend, students participate in team-building activities, group initiative activities, leadership training, and sessions to learn about the traditions of Wingate University. Camp Bulldog is not Orientation; it is an additional experience to complement the Fall Orientation program, which takes place August 17-20, 2017.

Students will stay in a residence hall and dine on campus. Our new Bulldogs should plan to arrive to campus mid-day on Friday, July 21. The program ends mid-afternoon on Sunday, July 23. The cost of Camp Bulldog is $200, which included all meals, lodging, activities, and a T-shirt. Students can sign up by completing the registration form and submitting their registration fee. Payments can be mailed in or submitted online. But hurry: Space is limited to 80 participants. More details will be sent following registration.
