Wingate Email

All Students

The first step in the new-student process is getting connected to the Wingate community. All communication from the Office of Orientation and other Wingate partners will be sent to your Wingate email account. After committing to Wingate University, students are sent their Wingate email address, their username, and a temporary password to get started. This information will be sent to the personal email address listed on the student’s application. It is critical for new students to check their Wingate email daily, as most communication over the summer will be sent through email.

Accessing your Wingate Email Address

Wingate email is powered by Google (Gmail). New email addresses will all have the same format, user.nameXXX@wingate.edu. The Office of Orientation will send each deposited student a personalized email with all of their specific log in information; the email will be sent to the email listed on their application. To log into your Wingate email account for the first time, visit mygate.wingate.edu. Students will be prompted to enter their username and temporary password provided via email. During the login process, students will need to accept Google’s terms of service.
